So I Got this in a letter from my day and I thought I would share it with the world because I liked it so much.

"My Greenbay Packers are a perfect 10 and 0 so far for the season, I
believe everything in this world tend to point to Christ, even the
NFL. As I was saying the Packers are perfect for the season, sometimes
we see people who seem to almost be perfect. The Packers while they
have no losses yet this year do have a defence that has a lot of
problems being consistent, allowing some teams to score a lot of
points. The way the Packer deal with the problem is to score more
point than the opposing team at all costs, the thing that the Packers
do well. Then they work very hard and patiently with the defense
helping them get better. Sometimes we have to be like the Packers,
when the opposition exploits our weaknesses we should respond by doing
what we do well at even a higher degree and also work on our
weaknesses with coaching and patience. Never let the opposition get
you down just work harder doing what you are good at which will give
you success and keep your spirits up. mean while you identify what the
opposing force is hurting you on and get help and work to strengthen
your self there,. teams or people who let themselves get to
discouraged will lose and experience great sadness. No one is with out
weakness, when you fix one weakness Satan will find another one to
hurt you with, but a simple way to stay up is to do more of what you
are good at, for success and keeping your spirits up and repairing the
weak area at the same time with the help of Heavenly Father."

The Doctrine of Christ

The doctrine of Christ is such a great thing it is all about you making a choice and that makes me think of a quote by Doc. Seuss that talks about choices "you've got brains in your head feet in your shoes you can steer yourself any way you choose you're on your own and you know what you know and it's up to you to decide where you'll go well that's something well isn't that something.". Its such a great statement if you think about it. The reason why is because if you are going to follow anything Jesus Christ has set up you have to choose to. That is the first step to have faith in him and once you do that you can start to repent of the things you have done wrong in your life. After you make that choice you will want to make the choice to get baptised so that you follow Christ example and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost so that we can have the Spirit of God with us at all times as we live in a way to be worthy to have it. We learn about this in many different places in the Scriptures but one of them is in The Book of Mormon in 3 Nephi 11:37-39

"37 And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, and be baptized in my name, or ye can in nowise receive these things.

 38 And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and be baptized in my name, and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God.

 39 Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them.".

As we build on the rock of Christ there is one more thing we must do to inter into the kingdom of God and that is to endure to the end. and that learn about in this in 2 Nephi 31:20

 

"20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life."

This means that you need keep living the commandments of God and living in a clean manor. The best way to keep close to the Lord is by studying the Scriptures so that you can keep learning about Christ and what he has done for you and what he will keep doing for you. I know that as you keep moving forward and living in the way the Lord wants you to he will bless you and that it will bring great joy to your life. This is a great thing that we all have the opportunity to inter into. I know it will bless your life greatly.

Living the Gospel

Mosiah18:8-10

8 And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;

 9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life—

 10 Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?

I know this to be true that as you come unto the Lord that you will want to help every one and to do anything and every thing you can for them. As you do this the will pour his Spirit out on you more abundantly they you will ever know.

Skating Through Life.

I love to go skating and learn how to do new tricks. Some times i fall down but i just have to get back up and keep working on it tell I get it right. When you finally learn and land that new trick it is such a great feeling. You just don't want to stop at that point you just keep going and skating all day and into the next. That is a lot like the gospel as you learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ and what He wants from you you just want to keep moving forward and doing more as you feel the spirit. When you learn how to live or as you try to live the commandments of God you just want to keep going that day and into the next. Every time you start to learn a new trick I get closer and closer to doing it right and I keep wanting to get it down. As you live the gospel and get closer and closer to the way our Father in Heaven wants us to live you want to keep doing it tell you can get it down. When you start to get one thing down you want to learn how to do something that is a little harder and make you stretch just a little more. It just feels so good when you finish your day and get ready for bed and you think back and your like I land that trick or your like I lived in a way i know I should. You lay in bed and you think to your self LIFE IS GOOD

Same Jersey

We all come from a different place. Some from rich families, some from poor, some from other countries and some from other schools. But it does not matter; we are all here as God's children and we are all here trying to make it back to Him. So why don't we all go forward togeather working on doing what God wants us to do. Matthew 22:39 says "And the second [commandment] is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.". Let's move forward and help each other make it back to our loving Heavenly Father.

This Life Is A Life Of Choice

God sent us here to make a choice to see if we will follow him. To see if we would choose good or evil. to see if we would choose life or death. The way we can choose good or evil, life or death is by if we are going to follow Jesus Christ. The first way we follow Christ is by faith in Him and His sacrifice for us so that we can repent, which is the second part of following Him. We ask for His forgiveness and strive to not do these sins again. If we do fall back down we need to get back up again and ask for His forgiveness and keep moving forward. The third part is to be baptised like Him. After He was baptised He asked us to follow Him. In 2 Nephi 31:5 it says "And now, if the Lamb of God, he being holy, should have need to be baptized by water, to fulfil all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be baptized, yea, even by water!". Then after we are baptised we are given the Gift Of The Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. That is the forth step in choosing to follow Christ. The last step is one of the hardest steps to follow. It is to Endure To The End. What does that mean? It means that we need to follow all of His commandment and repent of our sins that we all have and continue to have. As we go through life we just keep changing for the better here a little and there a little. Alma 37:6 "Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise."

Vices In Life

I like in this video how it shows how when you get addicted to some thing that is all you can focus on. When you are stuck in that vice it is hard to get out and the best way to get out if you are stuck in the vice is to pray and turn to our Heavenly Father and ask Him for help. As you go through life stay away from things that can hold you down. As you raise your children teach them the hazards of getting addicted to things. As we learn to stay away and keep ourselves clean we will live a happier life and a more full life.
